JONAH LEFT IT ALL ON THE FIELD AFTER OUR FINAL GAME
On October 3, 2010, Jonah, Ezra and Scot flew from NYC to Minneapolis to watch the Minnesota Twins' final regular season game. This was also the final game of the journey for the boys. It was the make-up game from last season that we were unable to attend because of
Scot's medical emergency in St. Louis, which forced us to skip Minneapolis in order to keep the rest of the dates and games intact.
It was a truly magnificent day. The weather in Minneapolis was perfect. The Twins had pre-game ceremonies to honor thier founder, and, in another classy move, they honored Jays manager Cito Gaston on his last day as the Jay's skipper.
We want to thank all the wonderful fans we met at each stadium, and in each city in between. Friends, both old and new were so good to us and made the trip even better than expected. And thanks to our families who were so patient and helpful and understood that this was a trip worth taking.
Please keep us in your minds when you think about America's Pastime. And be on the lookout for a book and a video featuring us, the THREE OF DIAMONDS, as we chronicle our Journey. Because we have so much fun talking about our trip, we want to be able to share it with others.
Even though our tour has ended, the Journey has not. We've vowed to continue to visit each new ballpark as it opens, together as a team. We will continue to spread the word of Team Continuum, which does such wonderful acts of kindness for those who need it. And we will continue to be the best fans we can be. By enjoying the game of baseball the way it was meant to be enjoyed; at the stadium, surrounded by the fans, watching the most wonderful game in the world unfold in front of our very eyes.
